COVID-19 Policy

House of Beauty will operate within Government guidelines and procedures to date (Any updates or additions will be added to our policy).

We wanted to assure you that now, more than ever our commitment is for the safety of our team and clients.  We will be taking every precaution necessary to ensure that hygiene and the guidelines given are in place and that there is minimum risk when visiting House of Beauty for your treatments.

 

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

– To reduce risk, we are limited the amount of staff working.

– Entrance doors will be kept closed and only scheduled appointments will be allowed to enter the salon.

– Social distance will be kept where possible throughout the salon waiting areas, although we are aware that this is impossible during your actual treatment.

– Face masks/visor will be worn at all times by staff and hand washing with the addition of hand sanitiser will be used before and after every client.

– A one-way system for entering and leaving the salon will be in place, so clients will enter through the front door and leave via our rear entrance to avoid unexpected contact.

– Disposable nails and foot files will be opened from a sealed packet at the start of treatments and disposed of after every client.

– All client areas will be cleaned with medical grade cleaning solution after every treatment.

– PVC couch covers will be fitted over beds, so they can be cleaned with medical grade cleaning solution after every client

– All metal treatment tools such as tweezers, nail implements etc will be sterilized between clients.

– The salon will be cleaned thoroughly by separate cleaning staff at the end of each working day

– Staff uniforms will be spritzed with ‘Spray and Wear’ before they leave the salon (kills 98% of bacteria)

 

WHAT WE WILL ASK OF YOU

– In line with government recommendation if you are unwell or show symptoms of COVID-19 please reschedule your appointment in line with our cancellation policy where possible.

– We would ask all clients attending and appointment to wear a protective face mask.

– Upon arrival please wait at the front door wearing your mask and your therapist will let you in.

– Please arrive on time and do not bring anyone else with you for your appointment

– If you are required to use our waiting area please do not touch retail stock, your therapist will help with anything you need and provide gloves if needed

– Debit/Credit Card, Account and LayBuy will be the only accepted payments. No cash or gift vouchers please.

– Please do not bring food or drink to the salon, with the exception of a reusable bottle of water.

– Where possible please make future appointments through our online booking system.

– Please make sure your contact details are up to date as part of the Track and Trace policy

 

Please remember this policy is for everyone’s safety and the above guidelines may change over the coming weeks, which will be advertised on our website, mailing lists and social media.

Using you Gift Voucher after COVID-19

Whilst the Government is restricting treatments we offer please note:

All Gift Vouchers purchased before the 31st July 2020 will have an indefinite validity and until further notice we will be unable to accept Gift Vouchers as payment until safe to do so and we are back to a full team that is able to offer all treatments at House of Beauty.

House of Beauty is committed to safeguarding Gift Vouchers use in the future, therefore it will not be possible to purchase further House of Beauty Gift Vouchers from the 31st July 2020.

Salon Hours & Getting back to a new normality

House of Beauty was able to reopen on the 13th July for certain treatments and all treatments from the 1st August. 
Getting back to our normal hours and a full team will take time and careful management, therefore we will adopt the following hours until the 1st November 2020:

Monday 12pm-8pm

Tuesday CLOSED

Wednesday CLOSED

Thursday 9am-5pm

Friday 12pm-8pm

Saturday 9am-4pm

House of Beauty was able to reopen on the 13th July under the government guidelines. Nigel and Wendy will be available for treatments from the 13th July and they will bring the team back gradually from the 1st August. Please bear with us whilst we try to get back to a full team and normal working hours and should demand dictate, we bring back staff earlier we will providing that safety and COVID measures are not compromised.

Parking:

• Free parking is allowed for 2 hours only, on New Road
• There is free parking at Hathaway Retail Park at the top of New Road for 3 hours only
• Pay and Display parking at the Railway Station and Town Centre

By Rail:
Chippenham Railway Station is 5 minutes walk from House of Beauty
• Turn right out of the station and walk down Station Hill
• At the roundabout turn right and keep right under the Railway Arches
• House of Beauty is approximately 150 metres on the left

Alternatively, cross over the Railway Bridge and exit the car park onto Union Road.
Turn left on to New Road and House of Beauty is directly opposite

From M4 Motorway travelling west:

Exit at junction 17 signed Chippenham and take the 2nd exit onto the A350

From M4 Motorway travelling east:

Exit at junction 17 signed Chippenham and take the 4th exit onto the A350
• Continue for 2.86 miles of dual carriageway to Chippenham
• At roundabout take 1st exit onto Malmesbury Road – B4158
• Continue for 1.17 miles
• At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto New Road
• House of Beauty is approximately 150metres on the right

From A4 Bath Road:

• Continue along A4 signed Chippenham and then Town Centre and Calne (passing Chippenham Hospital on the right)
• Continue along A4 until a roundabout and traffic lights signed Wootton Bassett, Lyneham and take the 1st exit
• Continue under the railway arches on to the A420 bearing right
• Keep right on to Park Lane A420 signed Wootton Bassett
• Bear right on to the A420 signed Calne, Devizes
• Join New Road. House of Beauty is approximately 150 metres on the right

From Calne/Devizes:

• Continue along the A4
• At Pewsham roundabout take the 1st exit signed Through Traffic, Town Centre
• At the next roundabout take the 1st exit signed Town Centre
• At the next roundabout take the 1st exit onto Pewsham Way, signed Town Centre
• At the next roundabout take the 1st exit continuing along Avenue La Fleche, signed Town Centre
